NPR interview with Bollywood’s Shah Rukh Khan
Even though Americans may not be familiar with Shah Rukh Khan, he is arguably one of the most recognized actors in the world.
For over 15 years, he has been making films in India. He’s bigger than Tom Cruise or Julia Roberts. And National Public Radio (NPR) has a wonderful interview with him as he discusses his career and his new film, My Name is Khan.
While the films that come out of India’s “Bollywood” are well known for lavishly choreographed singing and dancing numbers woven into every story, Khan points out that the fantasies of the Indian people are very realistic. In the interview, he said:
Our guys just want to sing and dance on the roads. Our guys just want to drive a big car. Our guys just want to come to America. You know, we don’t want to go to Pandora. America is our Pandora.

Yup!.. I adore Shahrukh! No matter what the critics say, he is still THE BEST in Bollywood.
